Siliconix Releases First 20-V and 30-V N-Channel TrenchFET Gen III Power MOSFETs WithTurboFET TechnologyThe 20-V SiS426DN device offers the industry's lowest on-resistance times gate charge for a device with this voltage rating in the 3-mm by 3-mm PowerPAK® 1212-8 footprint. This key figure of merit (FOM) for MOSFETs in dc-to-dc converters is 76.6 m-nC at 4.5 V and 117.60 m-nC at 10 V for the SiS426DN, which features a low typical gate charge of 13.2 nC at a 4.5-V gate drive and 28 nC at a 10-V gate drive. The AD7690/AD7691 is a 18-bit, successive approximation, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single power supply, VDD. It contains a low power, high speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the CNV rising edge, it samples the voltage difference between IN+ and IN pins. The voltages on these pins usually swing in opposite phase between 0 V and REF. The reference voltage, REF, is applied externally and can be set up to the supply voltage. Its power scales linearly with throughput.
The SPI-compatible serial interface also features the ability, using the SDI input, to daisy chain several ADCs on a single, 3-wire bus and provides an optional BUSY indicator. It is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, or 5 V logic, using the separate supply VIO.
The AD7690/AD7691 is housed in a 10-lead MSOP or a 10-lead QFN (LFCSP) with operation specified from 40°C to +85°C.
