Vishay Siliconix Releases New 20-V and 30-VP-Channel Power MOSFETs With Industry’s Lowest On-ResistanceThe devices will be used as the adaptor switch and for load switching applications in notebook computers and industrial/general systems. Adaptor switches (switching between the adaptor/wall power and the battery power) are always on and drawing current. The lower on-resistance of the Si7135DP and Si7633DP translates into lower power consumption, saving power and prolonging battery life between charges. [Read more...] |
Beverly, MA, October 24, 2006 - Clare, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of IXYS Corporation (NASDAQ: IXYS - News), today announced the immediate availability of their new 4-pin 5000Vrms isolation barrier OptoMOS® 1-Form-A (Single Pole, Normally Open) Solid State Relays (SSR). This family’s characteristics include a maximum blocking voltage of 600V, maximum current handling capability of 140mA and low on-resistance of 22 Ohms. These 4-pin devices are offered in both DIP and surface mount packages.
Clare's latest 5000Vrms OptoMOS relays provide the optimal combination of voltages and currents in a small 4-pin package. These devices take advantage of Clare's many years of experience with multi-chip packaging and proprietary leadframe design to achieve a 5000Vrms input to output isolation.
The new high-performance CPC1390 and CPC1393 devices are a perfect fit for the industrial and metering markets where long life and performance in harsh environments are critical. The CPC1390 has a load voltage of 400V, current handling of 140mA and a maximum on-resistance of 22 Ohms, while the CPC1393 has a load voltage of 600V, current handling of 100mA and a maximum on-resistance of 50 Ohms.
The CPC1330, with a maximum load voltage of 350V, current handling of 120mA and 30 Ohms of on-resistance, is ideal in telecom switching applications as a hook switch. The CPC1330 is an excellent SSR design choice for transformer-based phone line interfaces used in video set-top boxes, POS terminals and modem switching applications.
