The TRF3703 is a very low-noise direct quadrature modulator, capable of converting complex modulated signals from baseband or IF directly up to RF. The TRF3703 is ideal for high-performance direct RF modulation from 400 MHz up to 4 GHz. The modulator is implemented as a double-balanced mixer. The RF output block consists of a differential to single-ended converter and an RF amplifier capable of driving a single-ended 50- load without any need of external components. The TRF3703 comes in two types, TRF3703-33 and TRF3703-15. The -33 and -15 designators specify the common-mode voltage rating of the device at the I, Q baseband inputs. The -33 requires a 3.3-V common-mode voltage, and the -15 requires a 1.5-V common-mode voltage.
