ISL54217 - USB 2.0 High-Speed x 2Channels/Stereo Audio Dual SP3T (Dual 3 to 1 Multiplexer) - The Intersil ISL54217 is a single supply dual SP3T analog switch that operates from a single supply in the range of 2.7V to 4.6V. Vishay Siliconix Releases New 20-V and 30-VP-Channel Power MOSFETs With Industry’s Lowest On-Resistance

The devices will be used as the adaptor switch and for load switching applications in notebook computers and industrial/general systems. Adaptor switches (switching between the adaptor/wall power and the battery power) are always on and drawing current. (September 27, 2006) (OTC: SIPX.PK), - Sipex is pleased to annouce the SP3080E, the first product available in a family of advanced 5 volt RS485 transceivers. It features 15kV ESD protection, 1/8th Unit Load for up to 256 devices per bus, hot swap capability, advanced failsafe protection, voltage and thermal overload protection, and low power shutdown. SP3080E is a full-duplex transceiver with slew-rate limited to 115kbps. It is available in industry standard, RoHS/Pb-free 14 pin narrow SOIC packages.

The full family adds nine new devices; SP3080E through SP3088E. All members of this family comply with both RS485 and RS422 EIA Standards and contain an enhanced feature set designed to simplify the design of robust, high performance RS-485 communication networks. These features differentiate the products from other RS-485 transceivers. The complete family offers a choice of slow, medium or fast data-rates and either half-duplex, full-duplex or full-duplex with enable/shutdown.

"The new SP3080 family expands on Sipex's already strong portfolio of RS485 transceivers. We are offering customers in industrial, automation, motor control and commercial applications the most robust and high performance transceivers available.
