MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA — March 31, 2008 — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that its HE3 wet tantalum high-energy capacitor was chosen as a winner of Electronic Products China magazine’s 2007 Product of the Year Awards.

The of editors of Electronic Products China evaluated hundreds of products launched in 2007 on the basis of innovative design, significant advancement in technology or application, and substantial achievement in price and performance. Vishay’s HE3 capacitor was selected because of its demonstrated success in the Capacitor category.
