Compliance scheme Valpak has launched a series of free regional workshops designed to help retailers and manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) meet their legal obligations as the implementation of the WEEE legislation approaches.

Valpak chief executive Steve Gough said: “We hope that the timing of our regional events will ensure that simple, cost-effective and reliable solutions are available to the wider business sector in the run up to the WEEE Day on January 1 2007.”
